I've been reading on the 12-bolt dropout centers for the 9"ford housings. Anyone know what kind of hp these will withstand? they are available in 35 and 40 spline applications. i was wondering how they would compare with a 35 spline 9" as far as strength goes. I dyno 1065hp and 834...

I have a 3000 pound vehical just under 1100hp. dirt/sand drag application. I know we don't hook as hard as you guys, but we are spinning alot more weight. trans brake launch in the 5000rpm ranges Will a 35 or 40 spline aluminum spool hold this kind of stress? if so... does anyone have one for...
