    The 40 spline aluminum spool will hold it easy. I run a 35 spline MW aluminum spool. 60' is 1.101 with a lot less weight. To run a 40 spline you will need a 3.812 case.

    Talk to Matt at MBE and you might consider some SB2.2 take offs. He might have some but he will steer you to the best ones. You can find some really nice 400+ cfm stuff complete with rockers and intake for around $4000. On a 420 it will make 900 pretty easy. My 399" is way north of that...
