This is what has been decided to date.

You do not have to claim D4 to participate.
The Comp Bonus fund will be a separate points system.
There are 6 - D4 Divisional Races and 2 National Events in D4 this year. 8 Total.
You are required to run at least 6 events minimum. If you run 7 your best 6 will be counted.
If you run all 8 your best 6 will be counted.
The last race in D4 is the Ennis National Event and it will be Points and a Half.

Im still considering the following:
* Qualifying Points - either the top 3 from each session:
#1 - 3 Points
#2 - 2 Points
#3 - 1 Point
or maybe even the top 5 from each session.
* Houston National Event - awarding Points and a Half

I am not a fan of giving points just based on ET and not based on winning a round.
That being said,

Since the WFO will be contested at the divisional events, what about awarding points for the WFO winners.

A-field winner 6 points
A-field r/u 4 points
B-field winner 3 points
B-field r/u 1 point

This would award performance and round wins, what the WFO was created for.

The 2 nationals could use the system like the Pro's use.

Not a fan of qualifying points, lets keep it simple and go off points from round wins. IMHO

The problem with the idea is the fact theres some racers with really fast cars, some with index's softer than they should be and some of both. Theres a few cars that could qualify in the top 3 at ever race.

No qualifying points. The ones, twos and threes is to hard for all the old drywalls to keep up with. We can do tens and twenties. Ten x ten = 100 and five x 20 = 100. See? All kidding aside ties never happen if that is what you had in mind.
