Hood Scoop Design

I need to learn about hood scoops.Is there a book that I can buy, or who is the "go to guy" for good information. I'll be putting a new hood scoop on my car & my customers car, for next season, & want to make a good , educated choice.Both cars, basic bracket , NA , SBC & BBC , 9 & 10 second cars. Definitely not in the league that most guys on here are at, but there are some very smart people on here, that hopefully I can learn from. MFG bull$hit, fancy high dollar ads are meaningless, as most guys are aware of. That's why I ask ICR for knowledge / input. Thanks guys. Sorry for the long winded post. I have a simple program that figures opening sizes for slow to high MPH.
somebody on here was asking me about it and I had lost it in a computer crash. It showed up the other day in some computer clean outs.. Humm..
