We are still working through a few programming issues, so it may be another week or two before I can get the want to buy ads free.
This forum is for racers and teams to buy and sell used equipment. The advertisement of new products and services by a business is reserved for our site advertisers. I don't mind "Joe Smith Racing Engines" clearing out some old inventory but I don't want to see ads for new products and services.
We are now charging a nominal one-time $5 fee to post an ad. When you bump an ad, it's the same as the old classifieds, just reply and it will 'bump' the ad to the top of the listing. The bump is free. Pictures will be $1 each. One bump per week per ad.
I am working with the programmers to have it to where want to buy ads will be free. The way this will work in the future will be you will post your want to buy ad, you just will not pay for the ad. A moderator will be able to come in and approve the want to buy ad and it will be posted for free. There is a programming glitch right now that will not allow me to override an unpaid ad and make it show as paid. In the mean time if you want to post a free WTB ad, post it in the Comp Buzz.
