It would just be nice to have some at the shop and trust it'll pass at the track. The worry about being able to get any at the track was the biggest pain for us. How much of that "saved cost" was negated when what you had left didn't pass and was useless?

Not getting it at the track was becoming a bigger issue, but who says VP will have fuel there for us. I have only failed fuel check once and it did not cost me anything extra as I just used that fuel to warm up the truck. I didn't see issues with SR18 but C25 is faster, so we got to use it. It is what it is, just wish the price was more reasonable.

I think it is great news! $40 in drag racing is like losing a penny. We all blow that on crap just getting to the races!

I've actually found that you can run more compression with the SR18. I didn't see any measurable difference between the two, but of course everybody combination is different. Only thing I'm worried about is old people like me on a fixed income and the difference between $15.00 a gallon versus $25.00 now.... The SR18 was a pain in the ass trying to find. You just about had to get it at the race track. I think the C25 will be easier to get. I'm going to e-mail President Trump and see if he will up my social Security to cover the extra cost.
