Ok, over 1000 views and no one posting. I'm just going to continue posting pictures of our car then. haha.

Not sure how many know about the rarity of our car. It is literally the last NHRA Pro Stock car that Don Ness ever built. We are honored to have it.

Uploading a file must be something new, not an option on my classified post!

Thank you. And I definitely agree. Would love to see more setups on here, the cars were the main draw to the class for me.

I'm assuming Jeremy is still doing your stuff? I live not far from His shop and he's a great guy. Some don't realize how good it is to have you in Comp. There's many other places you can and do run but its so good the challenge of Comp is in your blood. Your media presence and openness to show people what your doing is the best thing for the class. The history of the class has been pretty tight lipped and that's part of the attraction for some, It's almost like a secret society and possibly one cause for its struggle. I know when most of us were young what drew us to Comp was going to the track and wanting to learn by sticking our faces and noses where it didn't belong looking at the cool fast stuff, the fabrication, the drive train development, etc. These days what attracts people is the same, but they search for cool innovative stuff on Social media or the web. They should be exposed to this all the time. Unfortunately for Comp this forum is about the only informative source. Only a few have Facebook pages with very little photos to attract up and comer's. I cant tell you how many times I've been at the track with our new car and asked "what is Comp Eliminator?" "Man that car is Awesome!" Again thanks Carey, your stuff is current up to date and what many people young and old can relate to. Best of all it is Bad Ass & Fast!
My son and I are finally getting started and finishing up our license runs. I'll post up some pic's soon. Its been a long build but what isn't when you try to run Comp. ;)

Yes. Jeremy is still doing all of our engine stuff. I do a lot of the assembly these days, but he does all the important stuff....haha. Crazy to think we've been together 10 years now working on this same platform. Each year it amazes me what this OEM based engine can do.

We've always been down for a challenge, which is probably why I love this engine platform so well. When we started with it, we were making 500hp and running 11's in a street car. Never would've imagined we'd be where we are today. Especially still utilizing the stock crank, block, head and oil pump/pan setup.

I definitely try and show and tell as much as I can. I feel it's what gets newcomers interested and maybe people that are already racing interested in a new platform? If I can help someone that's struggling not go through the same shit we did, I'm all for it.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond and thank you for the compliments. Good luck with the licensing and look forward to seeing you guys out there!
