Let's hear some predictions for how fast John Mihovetz will be at Pomona this weekend. After running 6.00s at an altitude track last weekend; this weekend the conditions should be more favorable. Assuming he runs in BB/AT, I predict that he puts that bad boy into the 5.90s, if not the 5.80s. If he runs in AA/AT, at AA/AT weight, the sky's the limit. Go get 'em John!

I won't make any predictions. Safe to say the weather as long as it doesn't rain will be better than Vegas. That should get us where we want to be. We will be in AA/AT at the same weight

Does that make you 300 heavy for AA/AT ? Quite the rocketship.......

He is in AA, but he is running at BB weight which makes the run even more impressive. Big congrats to John and his team!

The only info that I have is that it is 282 cubic inches, and he uses a 5 speed Lenco transmission. You are correct in assuming that they run on gas.

Turbo Cars can now run on Alcohol. So my guess is John runs Alcohol.

He runs alcohol, and big tires at NHRA races. In Vegas in a few weeks he will be on 10.5 tires.

Thanks Steve, I didn't know that; I need to pay more attention to the rulebook.
