Do we actually have a chance to make changes in the rules? If so ,what would be the cutoff date for next year?

At least get permission in writing before you spend a lot of money to do some off the wall shit seems to me would be the sensible thing....

If you have any suggestions for rules changes, I'd get them to your SRAC rep.. make sure it's in writing, and dated..

Your SRAC reps will do their best, but the response from NHRA will be "You want WHAT?? .. WHEN??".. and "HA HA HA HA!!"..

Years ago, we had a guy in the front office that fought for us.. I don't think we have anyone doing that today... JUST SAYIN"..

Hey Clark, sorry to take so long getting back.I've been at the Leake auction in Dallas all weekend & haven't been on line. The first thing I think needs to be addressed is an alignment of the indexs.I think most will agree there are several on the soft side as well as a few that are beat up.The second would be the personal index. Just never thought it had a place in what's supposed to be a "performance based class".I never wanted it when we were struggling & really don't like it now that we finally got fast enough to get -.04 PI of our own.Third I think the mindshaft call should be determined by the correction factor, not by how fast the top of the bottom half guy is. With all that said,I'm still glad to have a place to race with my son and be as competitive as possible. But if PI is here to stay,we need to get started on a new combination.

P.S.Let's find a way to run 'em to the stripe.

All sounds logical. I donwish there was a date set that any big rule changes/revisions were to be made. That way if you were to start on a new combination then you could not get "screwed" around and not a a benefit for your time and money.
