    How is it interpreted?

Is it only legal if it says so in the rulebook? Is it only illegal if it says so in the rulebook? If it's not in the rulebook does that mean it's legal?

I did search for the answer and couldn't find it. Figured some of you guys on here would know.

I believe it says somewhere that, if the rule book doesn't explicitly say it is legal assume it is not. But that's never stopped anyone before.

It's in the first ten pages or so of the rulebook. Before you get to anything regarding classes. There is a section titled "how to use this rulebook"

Well things that are legal take up less space then everything illegal so yes if it says you can you can if it doesnt say it then you better not. Rule book would be like an encyclopedia volume if it said everything you cant do.

Most guys just show up with it and then they change the rules for them later. I would go for it. Is the tech official gonna find it?

Specifically, this is what I'm looking at. Since we are racing in another series this year that allow a larger turbo, we are going to run a larger one and just get in where we fit in in Comp. Which I believe will put us into the BB/AT class? The way I read this, there is no turbo limit for BB/AT or AA/AT? Correct?

    TURBOCHARGER (Section 12D, page 19)

Air-to-air or water-to-air intercooler permitted on turbocharged vehicles. Maximum one supercharger or two turbochargers (not both). CC/AT: Single turbocharger limited to 74mm; twin turbocharger limited to 58mm. DD/AT: Single turbocharger limited to 76mm; twin turbocharger prohibited on 4-cylinder applications. BB/AF: Ecotec engine limited to single 68mm turbo; all others limited to single 74mm turbo.

    Carey,
There is no turbo size limit in AA/AT or BB/AT.... But AA/AT is a v8 only class.
BB/AT is ripe for the pickin! Throw some turbo size at it, take all the weight out and let r rip!!

Can you get it light enough without it turning into an airplane?

    1350 is the minimum.

I’d say at best we’d be about 600 heavier than that. But with the larger turbo “should” be able to get into the 6.5x range if everything remains happy.
