    Trying to decide on tires.
    Any comments would be appreciated.
I've been out of the loop for about 10 years.
    Goodyear, Hoosier or MT
    Anyone running a 2019 Goodyear?
The application will be on a 2175 lb Super Stock Modified
the car is limited on Wheelwell size to a max of 98"-99" roll out
A few years ago I ran a 1902 GY with good results.
    They were 96" roll out.
GY discontinued that 1902 tire a long time ago.
    Hoosier has the
    18240 Hoosier 31. X 14.5 14" tread 31.2 cir 98" roll out 12-14 rim 16.5 section D05 compound
    The MT 31.25/12.2-15W
It is about 6 lbs per tire lighter than the GY.

    Adger -

It is too bad the smaller size GY radial (I think it was #4456) has been discontinued. I know many SS guys, including myself, ran that tire with great success. I see GY has #4459 but rollout is close to 99.5". I believe that is the bias version to the #4456 radial. Have you contacted Mart at Goodyear in OKC? I can get you his number if you need it. He has been very helpful to over the years.

I think Ed Wright is running M/T 31.25" tire on his SS/JA with great success. He might be able to shed some light on the tire.

    Thanks
    Michael

    Adger,
Mike at M/T recommended that I try the M/T tire on my new Super Modified car. I believe that is the same tire that is in use in SS/AH.
Also, ask JVPunk, aka Ryan Warter. He runs M/T tires on his Super Modified Camaro.

    Thanks Guys for your input..
I've been talking to Ed and trading info. His are the
    31.25/12.2R15W
    30 R1 Tubeless 14 16.3 13.5 31.9 100 90000000873 3073R
They are a 100" rollout. Don't think they will fit the front of the wheelwell on my car. The 96" rollout was close. I have the car all apart and can't do any measurements at this time. I'm thinking a 98" is about it.
Phoenix has a 96" that might be a starting point.
They don't show a weight on them is what bothers me.

We have had a lot of success with the Hoosier on the SS/AH stuff we run
