I guess I'll get this out there before Will does.......

Who do you like at Houston and Bradenton? The Comp season kicks off at both of these tracks this weekend, and I'd like to know what teams you guys think will come home sporting brand new Wallys to start the season..........

Arnie should be able to win easy in Florida.

For Baytown, I would say Steve Kent in his G/SM.

For laughs, he went 8.89 which stands as his first time in a comp car (or better yet, first time in a clutch car), launching in a streak of water (not good for a sixty foot time, ha ha).

This year ought to be interesting!

    Carbery

Pete Carbery is my pick to win Houston, and he will also run the first 6 second B/A pass.

I guess that there are a bunch of chumps down here in D2.

    Mike Saye
    Treadwell
    Rampy
    Rick Hord
    LArry

    Are all push overs!

    lol

My money is on the BB/A.

No JD, I think there are some great racers down in Bradenton but I think Arnie will be to strong for them.

Rambo or Treadwell will take Bradenton with ease. Thats why they finished #1 and #2 in the D2 points last year. They can both be streaky but you never take them for granted. Rambo is still one of the winningest sportsman drivers in history.

And I think Bourgeois will pull it out down in Houston. He's a pretty good driver and always has a really well set up car.

The D4 Champ is celebrating Mardi Gras this weekend so the mindshaft is up for grabs.

This shows he has his priorities right. I'm featuring New Orleans music on my radio show this monday morning between 8-10 am Eastern. If anyone wants to listen in, click on the following website and then click on Webcast and follow the directions. I use realplayer to listen, but Windows Media Player should work as well.

    How about Sean Dodd?

How about Sean Dodd? Isn't he the first B/AA into the 6's?

Left Lane: Sean Dodd Runs 6.990/198.38/-0.740, Now #3; B/AA Index: 7.73, Prior Best: 18.169/68.62/10.439, Was #22

Sean Dodd finally got into the sixes, a pretty run - but only good for third!

If he's the first, then congratulations!!!

    Awsome!

Congrats to Sean Dodd, first B/AA in the sixes, and to Shane Heckel, first B/D in the .50's. 2 strong runs by Division 4 heavy hitters. When the wind dies down, I wonder if Dodd can go 200mph?
