The three cars that made me fall in love with Comp as a kid:
    - Tom Snyder A/A 'Pappy's Pride'
    - Tom Haner A/D
    - Larry DeForrest F/A (?) Lumina

Other favorites from over the years:
    - Hurley Blakeney AA/AT 'Silent Thunder' (with a close 2nd/3rd to Mihovetz's Accufab Cougar and Matusek's/Mihovetz's Mustang - I just didn't want the entire list to be Turbo cars!)
    - Bob Phelps AA/A Corvette driven by Santo Volpe and others
    - Bo Butner's AA/SM Cavalier with the bubble hood
    - Mike Hazlett B/A Cutlass 'Purple Haze'
    - Ed Bennett B/A Neon (had a Larry Morgan 500" Hemi)
    - Vinnie Deceglie A/A
    - Bob Book A/D
    - Brian Olson A/ND 'Circus City Flyer'
    - Rodger Brodgon A/SM (the purple car from ~2005)
    - David Eaton A/AP (only gets a slight nod over Alan Ellis because I saw this one in person first!)

If I'm thinking of the same guy you're talking about below with the B/EA Camaro with a Mopar motor - that was David Myers. Really a nice guy that did everything top notch back then!

I always loved the Olds Cutlass and Chevy Lumina cars of the 90's. They were so cool, and some of the coolest paint jobs. Bob Panella's cars back then (Lumina, Street Roadster and Super Mod Camaro) were just awesome. Not to forget the Chaparrone Bros cars, and of course Andy Manna's rides. Those guys all had some bad hot rods.

Bill Maropulos and any of his dominating dragsters, never viewed in person, but he was stout.

Also any high winding small cube modified stick car from the 70's when they seemed to be in 4th gear by the 330 mark.

Hard to pick a favorite, there have been a ton of awesome Comp cars over the years and I've been fortunate enough to help work on a few back in my clutch days. Always loved the N/A 4 bangers and 6's. Sound like 2 stroke motors compared to the V8's and the ones I helped didn't rev anywhere close to the V8's. Always had a thing for the forced induction cars too.

The Matusek and now Mihovetz Mustang was always a blast to watch. When it makes it past the 60, it always looked so sketchy watching from the stands from the 60 on with the ass end dancing the whole rest of the way down the track.

Can't forget Larry Larson's Nova with license plates on it.. I remember he drove the thing into Topeka from his shop. I asked him if he was going to at least change the tires. He says "Hell no!! Got 300 miles on these babies!!"

And someone will have to forgive me for forgetting their name, but I also remember seeing a red, steel bodied '62-ish Impala that was turbo'd up. I only ever saw the car at the Brainerd divisional, can't remember who it is. Just the sound of the tires crying when that thing left the line was incredible.
