    It used to be is you went more than 60 under on any run you're index was hit .05 Monday morning. They changed this as a safety issue on index hits in qualifying.

    IMO the tenth give back was not a good thing. But if you race you're going to hit the index. I miss the days when 60 under was absolutely flying in 0 to 500 ft air. Most people were between 50 to 55 under in decent air and 40 to 45 under in the heat. You had people racing to the stripe. I guess...

    Yes and I'm not sure about what Ford has but I don't know if Ford even has a true wedge head comparable to the Chevy's. I remember somewhere in that time frame of allowing sb2 heads in E super that they started allowing sb2's in A/EA and B/EA and they were previously wedge only.

    The head rule was changed years ago because of the fords. We run E with a wedge and an sb2 and the wedge is faster.

    Should we try to push for every division having it's own sportsnational? Possibly at the second half of a double up weekend. Divisional Thursday Friday and national Saturday and Sunday? Just a thought. That would give each division 2 national events guaranteed.
