C/A showdown!!!

A few months ago I read somewhere that the Elite,Bre guys and someone else were going to put up a ton of money on a winner takes all to see who had the best C/A car in the country...
What become of this ...was it someone just talking crap or is it still going to happen
I'd love to see it
 
Last I heard from a few people involved they were still wanting to get it done. Somebody needs to figure out where first and when. You have 3 c/a on the west coast 2 in the Midwest and 1 on the east coast. Come up with some ideas?? Who is gonna travel and to where? Last I was heard about a month ago Huhtula, elite, Hodges and I were all in.
 
Very good question. I'm not sure why c/a is such a big deal to some, compared to the other classes that have several cars that all compete in the same class also.
 
Has Comp ever done a big money no CIC style race like they do in Super Stock sometimes? That would be cool and you could split the purse between Boosted and Non boosted combinations. That would be a nice add to a Sportnationals event.
 
It's C/A because it's a battle between engine builders or something like that ... you know my penis is bigger then yours ..... No I've got the biggest penis in the country and I put 10 k down to prove it..well we should all put in 10k and see who penis is the biggest and winner takes all LOL
Anyway I would flight out to see it happen if it did...he'll if the pot was big enough I may even get amongst it...

Hey rob happy new year. No plans yet for 2017. Would love to come back and run with you guys again if possible. Have a good one and hopefully we will can line up against each other sometime next year.

I would love that. Bob has the SB2 now with hopes to help find some added power. It will never make Hemi power but it sure was fun playing. Take care and hope 2017 is the best yet.
 
I happen to be a fan of C/A, and always considered it a small block Pro Stock class.. I see that another racing organization has a class coming out for that style car, and along the lines of the Australian class.. NHRA is missing the boat here..

Years back, there were C/A guys that went to NHRA with a request for a small block Pro Stock class, or Jr Pro Stock, if you will.. I thought it was a great idea then, and I still think it is a great idea.. NHRA didn't agree.. but what was Pro Stock Truck??... C/A in a truck body... we all have a version of what happened, but it was a great class..

Is it an engine builder thing??.. a car builder thing??.. a race team thing??.. who cares, it's called COMPETITION!!!... and if these guys are serious about putting up big money, then GIT 'ER DONE!!!
