Way to go Scott, Tom and the whole team on your record at the Jeg's Sports Nationals!!!!
I am not sure but that may be the FIRST B/SMA in the sevens !!!
It was a shame that the mineshaft prevented you from going more rounds,no need to wack that index so early in the year!!!!
Great job, best of luck the rest of the year

I agree one of the best teams out there and a good helpfull team to everbody.A 1.10 60 ft with a B/SM is something I find hard to belive but it did.East Texas S/M is bad ass .

60ft's?

Charlie,
How about a .985 for the C/ED of Rrett Fulton, a 1.09 for Adam Hickey(C/SMA) & a 1.04 for Raymond Martin (K/AA)? Pretty impressive for all 3.

Great Weekend

Greg (Turkman) & Mr. Charlie,

Thanks for the support and recognition. It was a great weekend for our entire family. Claiming the record with my mom, dad and brother at the racetrack is something that I will always cherish. We hit the setup in Friday's evening session and were fortunate enough to put up a sensational elapsed time and mph. We have worked very hard on this combination for over a year and there are several folks that had their hand in our recent success that I would like to thank:

Mike Trumble (Trumble Racing Components) - Thanks for providing me with an awesome power plant, being a great friend and mentor.

Steve and Trudy Kent - To our extended family....thanks for always having faith in me, even during my bracket racing days. I remember a long time ago when Steve traded his pick-up truck in for a race motor so we could race. Boy, how times have changed!

Vic Custer (Eastexas Race Cars) - Thanks for building me one of the nicest Supermodified cars in the country. Thanks for working with me over the winter to bring my car to the next level and thanks for coming to the racetrack this weekend to help us meet our goal.

Joey and Jamie Tanksley - Thanks for building and servicing my transmissions for the past nine (9) years. To the entire Tanksley family for supporting me through the years.

Darren Breaud - Darren has recently reset the bar for Louisiana Supermods and has kept us working hard on our car. Thanks for being a great friend/mentor and thanks for keeping your confidence in me.

There are several others that have been instrumental in our success over the past couple of years and you know who you are. I am truly humbled and greatful.

I hope to see you at the races.

That car could win best appearing and engineered at the same time. I not sure about best appearing crew.lol

there was more than a few of us that were wishing you were going to air that thing out sunday morning!! congrats to you and your family. See you guys in Houston. Darin West

I sure am glad he did`nt air it out because I know how hard he has worked getting it that fast. The truth is he was carrying a lot of extra weight.I belive he could have went 80 + under if my math is right. He is never going to tell what he could have done but it is true its fast.

Congrats

Never had the pleasure to meet you and your family. Enjoy your accomplisments - well deserved. I really appreciate your effort and moreover, your effort's to protect the index - believe me, I know how hard that must have been and I hope you realize how much I appreciate it. Be well, Chuck Haubiel.

Scott & Family; Great run!! It was great talking with y'all this past weekend. Thanks for taking the time.
