I recently acquired a CFE sheet metal intake to go on top of my Dart/Buick headed Land Speed engine. It currently has a ported cast manifold converted to a 4500 top with a 1050 dominator. The CFE intake came with a single 4500 top. Depending on the class I run I can change to Dual carbs. Using the cast manifold the 364cui engine is making peak power at 8700rpm and we shift at 9300. With that being said. If I decide to run dual carbs can I put a second 1050 on top or will it be too much carb. Would dual 4150 carbs be better. Drivability is not a concern. There is no launch the car is push started. I just need to make as much horse power as possible. Any insight would be great.

The setup on one will be a little different than two carbs, so using the same carbs will require some tuning to go back and forth. Best to have a pair of carbs set up for the tunnel ram, I would lean toward a large pair of 4150's with annular boosters, maybe a set of Little Bo carbs if they are legal.
