Now thats fast for a down under "Mexican", do you think Gavin is on to something with this Sydney/Melbourne comparison thing?Maybe a chain of Australian/Mexican style restaurant's that feature tail of crock soup for a starter.Once again Craig, another fine outing. Mike

You have a good memory Gavin on that crank bolt.
All my years as a Caterpillar field serviceman taught me to never throw a bolt away but to have a proper 7/16 UNF damper bolt in my tool box certainly was lucky for you guys that day, It was only a couple of meets earlier my starter motor crapped itself and the COME boys got me out of trouble, thats what makes racing what it is i reckon.

Here is some video of Craig's little altered.

1st round of qualifying up to 2:53, then it is DYO Supercharged outlaws
(Comp Elimniator and Super Stock were combined for the event so the aspirated door cars ran against Altered, Dragster and blown sedans.)

And here Craig is again, but i think they got him confused with the outlaws cars again as there is no more Comp after his pass.

I raced Craig in the final (red GXP) and Craig got me by 0.004 off the line and 0.008 at the stripe. It was a very close race!

Hi guys,
Just another update.
We won again last weekend at the championship round in Adelaide South Australia.
The weather was far less than ideal, DA of 3000+ and temp was between 95 and 102 deg F all weekend.
The event was run over 1000ft for comp.
We top qual and reset the record to 6.26 @ 161.46 mph.

This coming weekend we are racing in Perth Western Australia which is 2600 miles from where we live.

Thanks again to everyone over there for parts and help.
Very special thanks to Todd Patterson, Clint Neff , David Rampy and Gary Merrick.

I will post again as this very important event unfolds.

Cheers
Craig Geddes.

Craig,

Good Luck,

I hope everything works out the way you planned it. That is a really long trip but you are on a roll and need to "Go For It!!!!"
