the cars are battling a very stiff head wind right now, but Brogdon has already ripped off a -.73 under 8.47 in his D/SM (9.20 index, 8.52 record) in around 1600 ft corrected air. He said the head wind was gusting to 35 mph at times. Shane Heckel has ran as quick as -.57 under. The air is getting better, and the wind is expected to die down by tomorrow. Should be fast!

Brogdon thinks he can run an 8.30 before the weekend is over

Front came in and now its real fast. Carberry (B/A) and Heckel (B/D) no clutch, did'nt get down. Heckel should be able to run 6.5? something tomorrrow. He needs some heat in the track. RB (D/SM)) 8.400 @ 160.00 -.80, L ump (C/SM) 8.180 @ 164.71 -.76. Conditions +150 feet, very fast conditions. Radials are going on the D/SM tomorrow.

Keep the info coming Roger

Hey Scott,
Carberry (B/A) went 7.00 @ 194.83. He got on the high side chip about 1200 feet.
Heckel tried to stand the B/D straight up again. Lump (C/SM) shut off, no clutch.
RB (D/SM) 8.34 @ 160.98, -.86. Air +350 feet.

Thats about .67 under, whats the weather conditions like Roger? Not that it takes anything away from the ET's you guys are throwing around. I saw the 350ft, is it hovering around the same.

We will be lucky to get out for the first divisional at indy.. april 7th be luck if it doesn't rain out.. planning on the second Divisional at Mid Michigan in July..to many things to get done not enough time..

Well if we do make it to the Indy Points meet, Indy will be testing if the engine runs it will be in the trailer and off to indy.. Nothing like trying to iron everything out at a Points meet.
