After reading an article about Pro Mod on NHRA.com, it seems that their series will be covered again this year on the Victory Channel, and then replayed on MAVTV and the REV'N networks, for 10 races during the 2015 season..

Apparently this is all being made possible through a deal with the Masters Entertainment Group..

My question would be, although Pro Mod has and pays for their own deal, is it possible, since they have all that TV equipment on site anyway, for the elimination rounds of Comp also be televised??.. at least for 10 races..

Does anyone have, or know, a possible contact at the networks, preferably Masters Entertainment Group, who may consider adding Comp to their coverage??

Like I said, JUST A MAYBE....

reality

Comp would be much better served to the masses in a reality tv show format. It needs to be explained to be loved. There's a story to every car, every driver and every race.

Not only would the TV time have to be bought, but additional production expenses of such a show. We get the current alky/sportsman show because they already are set up to shoot the big show, and it's done on a shoestring production budget as an add on to the big show.

Comp and sportsman racing is never going to be a Street Outlaws, nor does it need to be. I think one of the things viewers relate to is the 'regular guy' racing.

I think step one of this would be for a group of racers/sponsors to fund someone to produce this as a pilot for the internet and see where it goes from there.

Now's the time to pitch the TV show to replace Street Outlaws, after tonight it's on the way out. They completed staged the race for first on the list. Different location, probably a different night than all the other races. Just look for the curb on the left lane and note there was none until the last race. Once this gets around that show will go away quickly.

HEY BMAN!!!!!!... got any ideas??... OK.. OK.. I know I might be just a weeeeee bit too pretty for the lead role, but I'm sure you can point us in a direction...
