Brian Lohnes and Lee Sebring were announcing at Lights Out this past weekend and apparently I’m not the only one that thinks it’d be neat to see our Comp car vs a Pro Stock car. The Put up or Shut Up show thinks so too. Best 2 out of 3, winner takes home $10,000.

What do you guys think? It’s in the works. :D

Not much different than seeing a DD/AT vs. B/A run in Comp.

Except it’d be heads up. Pro Tree.

You know of any interested? The TV show is open to ideas and I’d be willing to suggest it. Might bring a bit more attention to the Comp class.

Is it exactly as your car sits now or do you get to add more power? If its as it sits, easy $10k pay day for the pro stocker!

I believe that the initial narrative/thoughts are, same chassis/body (Legal NHRA Pro Stock), same driveline (clutch,5 speed),power plant being the only difference. 500ci vs 2.0 liter 4 banger Honda.

It’s in the concept stage right now and nothing beyond what Brian mentioned in the video above has been discussed.

That said, we’ve been as quick as some of the bottom qualifiers in Pro Stock in DD/AT trim. I know we don’t have anything for the big hitters, yet. But who knows by the time this would actually come to fruition, if it even does.

I have a legal NHRA Pro Stock car. I could buy a whole lot of valve springs with 10k. What do we need to do to get this to happen. I’m all about getting comp and pro stock some attention. Especially for a easy 10k:D:D
