Right about where they should be...........sorta
Well, with the ridiculous 16.4lbs they're throwing at me in DD/AT, I guess everything with that class is right about where it's supposed to be. In CC/AT that 8.00 seems quite soft, as I've seen cars in CC/AT trim go 6.60's. Oh well.....8.30 is "reasonable", I suppose. I just don't understand why they would throw so much weight at us when our car can weigh 2000lbs. in Sport Compact. Now we have to weigh 2360, run a smaller turbo, and run gas only......not what I had in mind for this class at all. It would be great if they'd allow us a bigger turbo, because a 72mm is just tiny compared to what we DO run (80mm). I don't see what's wrong with methanol, either. If they're "aiming" these classes at Sport Compact cars that are already built/already running, they didn't do a good job of it. Just my opinion.
