First off, I would like to wish a Merry Christmas season to everyone.

Secondly, I wanted to let everyone know that NHRA has added back comp at the Phoenix national event in February. Everyone back east can now make their winter so much shorter by attending the Winternationals in Pomona and then the Phoenix national event 10 days later.

If you need a place to keep your rig, call me and I can probably help.

Merry Christmas Jeff, Ken and all the wonderful comp racers and crewmembers along with the local track and touring National event crew with Danny the National technical director, who I had a wonderful chat with in Seattle, everyone have a happy holiday and be safe in 2019. I'm proud since moving over from TS to Comp in 2010 and with Competition Eliminators illustrious History yes lets make comp the greatest as it special .

on a sad personal note

with heavy heart my best friend and beautiful wife Pat recently lost her courageous 4 year battle with cancer and has gone to heaven to be with her mother and my friend Paul Dickey. I deeply miss her!

Terry, I am so sorry to hear. I didn't know her well but I hope she is having a duck fart with my dad and telling the many stories we al;l cherish so much. You're a great and strong man and a good friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jim thank you, it was a pleasure talking with you, as it has been a number of years before, along with your fine son Royce. Before I left the track I had Goodyear mount a 34.5" tire on the beadlocks so when I went over to pick them up I met with Royce at Goodyears trailer think'n I run a tall tire and looked down at his 36" and then it clicked he is a crewmember for Shawn Langdon and the Global Technoligy funny car. Looking forward to seeing you and Royce in 2019.
