Word from the D3 director is that the VP fuel truck will not be at the Norwalk D3 event June 2-4. It took a couple days but I managed to find some C25 for the weekend.

Is it now common for VP to not attend the divisional races? When we last raced a few years back, before the Sunoco mandate, I don't recall a race that VP was not on site. What happens if you show up to race and the fuel you brought does not pass tech? Not that I have ever had that problem with VP. Just wondering.

Start walking the pits in hopes someone has some extra they’ll give or sell you haha
We go to our local supplier at the beginning of the year and buy 5 or 6 5 gallon cans that way we don’t have to worry about a track having it or not. Also, since the switch back to vp we have had cans opened for 2 months and they still pass tech… we could never do that with Sunoco.

At the D1 races, we have to pick up VP at the NAPA store in Morgantown.. the trailer is well stocked.. not sure why VP is not on the property at Divisionals.. may be a topic for the SRAC guys..

BTW, great to see you getting back out, Chris..
