what class

What comp class can this car fit into and at what weight? 467" Big Block Chevy conventional style aftermarket heads, single 4500 carb on gas. Automatic trans. Stock body door car 70 Nova with a rack, tubs, modified subframe, modified suspension, leaf spring/caltrac bars. 25.5 chassis. Any ideas?

doesn't really sound like a comp elim. combo. most classes are based on pounds per cube. so they are pretty much max effort engine combos. a conventional headed bbc wouldn't be very competitive even if you could find a class for it. most classes are tube chassis cars, except for the super mods which are stock style front suspension , but are pretty small cubic inch wise compared to yours. your car may fit into super stock somewhere with some changes, but the engine combo is more of a bracket race piece . if your looking to run at nhra events why not look at the index classes like s/street or s/gas?

Thank you and congrats on your final round appearance. I know it's more of a bracket combination. The .90 classes don't look nearly as much fun as comp and Super Stock. I think I couold fit into D/AA but would be real slow for that class.
