JB has top qualified with a 7.03 in Perth, first round in 1 1/2,s time at 6 o.clock Perth time. 6,s at 6 anyone!

Congrats to TRE Austrailan pro stock customer Aaron Tremayne and Tremaniac Racing on their pro stock win in Perth yesterday. Fastest side by side Pro Stock pass in Aussie history!! Good job

yep...and the air was crap....approx. -120ft below...!! and one bad head wind....

Aaron is running our newest head and newest design AU pro stock engine which is based off the Little Chief with ALOT of changes, we CNC this head in house. We are also working on new engines with our ported version of the SBX which already looks as good as the Little Chief engines we build here. The 7.06 ET Aaron ran in the final is the second fastest run ever in Australia in Pro Stock.

Heads up action would be a lot of fun!

Given that our Pro cars run at 5.75lb per cube you guys would just need to add some weight to those B/A cars.:D

Who can write a good sponsorship proposal - a little support with shipping, airfares, accomodation.........

Do these P/S cars have fuel injection. It is kinda hard for me to belive that they could outrun some of comps B alters. It would be fun to watch.

It would be fun to find out, and it also reminds me of Skip Dunn's crew chief's (name?) recent idea that the NHRA should form a heads-up class of B/AA, and C/AA cars with the necessary adjustments to make them competitive against each other.

I believe the Aussie PS cars are car'bd.

One reason these guys are so fast is the fuel they are allowed to run, a special formula for AU called ROO-25 worth 15hp on our dyno over C25, much like Q16 we use here. Also these guys are working on the cars/engines/setups much like our pro stock guys here, everyday. We have already had 4 cylinder head designs in three years, dynoed endless ring/piston/camshaft combos and built prob twenty sets of carbs, these engines make 2.8 per inch on a conservative dyno, thats an awesome figure for 400 inches and stock bore centers. This is a highly competitive class, we need a heads up semi affordable class here like this for small blocks. The Ford went .987 down low this past weekend on his 7.03 run. Thats wicked quicked in the 60ft. especially since it is 100lbs heavy for B/A legal 400 weight. Just a bunch of smart and competitive guys.

Hi Taylor,

Just wanted to clarify that Roo25 is no longer homologated for use in Australia so the guys are using either another blend called "Dingo" or one called "Roo16". These are both VP products. The alternative fuel is by a company called ERC - don't know much about that but others might.

Hope this helps the discussion.

Peter,

Dingo is the equivalent of Roo25, or so we have been told at DC level, the only difference being colour to differentiate it from older stocks of Roo25. C25 and Roo25 were taken off the Homologation list by VP australia for some reason at the end of last season and replaced by Dingo.

ERC have their own version for Pro Stock called Aus Pro DXM and a few racers like Xerakias and Ali are running it.

Price of VP and ERC fuels are similar to each other.
