Any chance they will call this one off? Looks like rain Tuesday through Monday there with a high of 43 Saturday and 48 Sunday. $4.00 a gallon is a tough pill to go sit in the rain all weekend.

I'm hopeing they are going to postpone it for a few weeks, till the weather is alittle better and the track dries up alittle.. I have no idea why they insist on having this race this early in the year..
scheduled reschedule
I'm going to go back and look, but just off the top of my head, this race gets rescheduled damn near every year, then they reschedule it the next year for the same slot.
I'm thinking it's been rescheduled 3 or more times out of the last 5 years? Am I close?

There's a chance of that this weekend. They should call this off-it's too cold for any high power comp cars-I know Pohill would like that if his car were ready (LOL-four cylinder cars are always weak), but it's not.
Actually I'd be ok with them postponing it for a few reasons.. I'm not to keen on driving 400+ miles to watch in rain and be 40 degrees. Secondly and most importantly we broke a rocker and that rocker bent an exhaust valve and broke the guide, so we have some repairs to make and I doubt it will be done by thursday to go to indy.. But the weather will be much better and the ground drier in a few weeks.
I talked to Mike Myslinski today from ORP, and he and Jay are making a call Weds. at 2:00 pm EST. They will post it on the ORP and Div 3 site as soon as possible. I will post it here after they make the call. If it is postponed, he told me it will be held next weekend April 18,19 & 20. I will also post it on our racetrack website @ www.midstatedragway.com on the message board as soon as I hear.
