Can anyone tell me what the difference is between A/D and A/DA. Is the DA something new for 2007 Thanks

a/da is new for this year. It is an a/d with an automatic not to be confused with an a/ed which is only one four barrel and no dry sump. I hopr this helps.

wished they had given h/d and i/d the same soft indexes as the automatic dragsters got. they might as well just erase h and i dragster from the rule book, no person with and comp sence will waste money on a 20 under class, whne you have these new soft , soft classes for others

A/DA is the same as A/D, but A/DA is a new, automatic class. We are running Super Comp now, but have building the Comp dragster on the side. We originally planned on running A/D with a Pro-Trans, but when they announced the new class we took it as a sign. Unfortunately, we won't be getting the car finished until December or so. I'm curious to see if there are others who plan to run this classs.

Hey Eric....... I personally think A/DA it a great class....... maybe because I can't get along with clutches....... but an A/ED with an extra dominator and a dry sump system should be killer....... if the tracks you run are decent that is...... Hanratty just ran the class in Florida and looked pretty good...... I don't know how much he changed his A/ED combination though.........

Hey Greg...... I didn't realize you were looking into H or I....... thought you were going into C for some reason........ but in my opinion, the auto dragster classes got short changed in the index area....... I would have liked a tenth difference from the sticks...... but NHRA felt they were fair and from what I've seen so far, they were pretty close and definitely competitive....... but they have been in really good conditions............ just my opinion though
