CONGRATS!!.. to Joey Tanksley and Clint Neff on your wins this weekend.. you guys work hard, and your cars are running great.. this could be a VERY interesting season..
Congrats!
At No Problem, what is the story on why the ladder went from 13 cars to 12 cars? Did that change make the race mine-shaft? Never saw a ladder change once it was set.
Any info?
The policy manual states that for a legal run to be made and a competitor to placed on a ladder that a car must past tech and take the tree. You do not have to weigh or go thru fuel check to be put on the ladder. If you skip the scales and fuel, you will be dq'd and placed on the bottom of the ladder, but still on the ladder. I have brought this up a number of times as the pro mod cars are using the races for test and tune. In the past, some of them were not legal to run in comp with blower over drive. Knowing this by the tech inspectors or Division directors, my question is: 1) How can they pass tech if they are knowingly illegal? 2) Why are they removed from ladder if they took the tree? I have been part of this the past few years where they were put on the ladder in some divisions, they were removed by some divisions, and both scenario's transpired within the same division at different races. I just want to know where NHRA stands with what the rule is and have it the same for all the divisions. SRAC reps, please chime in!
Thanks to my family and to Steve Kent. Looking forward to this race season!CONGRATS!!.. to Joey Tanksley and Clint Neff on your wins this weekend.. you guys work hard, and your cars are running great.. this could be a VERY interesting season..
