I propose a $500 entry fee per event for each racer competing for the CEBF winnings. Sponsors of the CEBF get free entry.

We are not getting any responses from you to sponsor the fund for 2024.’

The CEBF has paid out over 1 million to the racers in the last 3 years. Currently the response has been DISMAL!

To make up the difference and ensure that the fund happens in 2024, I think the racers should pay an entry fee to be eligible for the winnings. Why Not? You guys are on the receiving end of a possible $750K pay out in 2024. Are you really going to let this opportunity pass you by?

Rodger is serious about cancelling the whole deal if the 25 sponsors requirement is not met by Sunday. You will see a post on Sunday that the whole program is cancelled. How will you feel when you see that post?

If you guys won’t step up and sponsor the fund then the fund should require your support in the way of entry fee’s.

As of today there are nine racers that will get free entry. That means there are about 30+ of you that are going to have to pay for entry or cancel the fund outright.

What do you think? Please respond quickly.

Come on guys. We’re racing for a lot of money. Unprecedented money, thanks to Roger. Let’s get going and try to get the sponsors we need. And I’m all for the extra entry fee if we have to. Everybody knows someone who is able to be a sponsor.Let’s help Roger help us! Thanks

The only problem that I see is that as the season goes on and a guy sees that he's not going to make the Top 10,he's going to quit paying $500 a race. Just throwing it out there. What about $5000 per season for a non-sponsor if you want to participate in the fund?

Easy way to fix that. 3500 up front beginning of the season. You have to run 7 to qualify so do it that way!

Ashton/Rodger, I'm 100% in favor of an entry fee into the program if you are not a sponsor, that yes is on top of the NHRA entry fee for the race. If anyone has an issue with this, well that's pretty sad. The program was free for years, WFO was free, well gas used to be $0.87 cents too.

I don't sound like the brightest crayon in the box with what I'm about to say, but Chomiski Performance has participated in this program for three years, for free. During those three years we've campaigned 6 cars to win $6,250, and we are a sponsor for 2024. I'm with Clint, Pay to Play! I'll be running for $240,000 instead of $250,000 this year and there's nowhere else we'd rather be.

There's a few cars that are in the green $10,000-$30,000 for races they would've gone to anyway. Whether you've won $1 from this program or not, step up today, get this list to 25, save $1,000 per month, get your stuff together, drag it to Louisiana and let's have some fun. Many people have put in much more than the 2 min it will take for you to pick up the phone and say "I'm in".

There’s going to be a lot of complaining when someone shows up to a race who isn’t a part of this and takes a guy out who paid $3500 to be a part of this in the first round.

Would be no complaining on my part! You kick my ass you kick my ass! I will also add to what you said. That guy goes and wins the race and he's pissed cause wasn't part of the program!

Well I'm not in favor of $5000 fee. I would like to play a part in it but I think for the bottom feeders it's a little steep. Craig and I are not sure that our cars will be ready. I think with this in place instead of having 40 cars to qualify, you might get 28 cars. Some families have a two car team. Two teams are rebuilding cars. Some people have the extra resources and some don't and I think we are getting away from the original plan. I myself are talking to two potential sponsors but I really need to talk to them face to face and that requires me to travel and I cannot do this at this time but as Rodger stated we need to beat the bushes to get these sponsors.
I would like to team up with some racers to put a 10K package together and if some others can do it maybe we can get to the 25 number. And thank you Rodger for all you have done in the past. Just my two cents.
By the way if everything goes as plan and I win the $250K....... 25K is going back into the pot for 2025 and then I might retire.
