He seems to actually care about sportsman racing. His work on Drag race central for the brainard race was really good.

I usually don't check out the notes pages because it is boring most of the time without a good commentary.

Not saying that the regulars don't do a good job. Dan does with more passion for the sportsman racers.

thanks Dan

Thanks to both of you for the kind words. I do try to put an extra effort into Comp and it's nice to see that it's paying off. Like anything else, some days are better than others and I always have a fear that I'll be watching a session and no words come to mind.

My background is in Pro Stock, so Comp is pretty much a natural for me. I'm a big technology fan and have a tremendous amount of respect for all of you out there who break new ground and push the limits every single day.

I had a pretty good teacher who got me interested in how Comp actually works and the effort that's required. Due to the PS thing (which had me working with Jenkins at the races) I met Steve Johns who was nice enough to let me hang out at his trailer a whole bunch the year he won the championship.

The stuff I picked up was priceless and that's when I realized that Comp might be the toughest class out there since you guys have so much more to deal with than just getting to the finish line first.

I raced a bit back in the day in Stock and IHRA Production, so I like the Stock and Super Stock classes a lot also.

A lot of my friends kid me about being a Pro Stock Snob, but they don't know my dark side.:D
