Index Hits 2007

Hi Dan. Here's the total body count so far for 2007, as far as I can figure:

Bradenton:
A/AP 7.49 -.02 to 7.47

Phoenix:
A/AA 7.33 -.05 to 7.28
F/A 8.69 -.01 to 8.68
DD/AT 8.18 -.10 to 8.08
B/SR 8.59 -.01 to 8.58
B/AA 7.73 -.01 to 7.72
P/ST 8.07 -.02 to 8.05

Houston:
C/SM 8.86 -.06 to 8.80
F/SMA 9.30 -.02 to 9.28
B/D 7.29 -.02 to 7.27
F/SM 9.42 -.10 to 9.32
D/SMA 9.09 -.05 to 9.04
E/SMA 9.14 -.04 to 9.09

I think E/SMA got it for .06, the rest are correct.

Damn, at the rate this season is going, we'll have to re-name it the Coroner Index Control. Lots of Index body bags being filled rapidly, and it's only early March. Some more thought needs to be put into the scheduling of these races, or re-work the CIC for mineshaft races. This is rediculous. March 4th, and already twenty-one classes hit for a total of twenty-two times (E/SMA was hit twice).

On a side note, some asked if I would post the drivers names along with the Index hits, to keep track of those who may hit two different Indexes and therefore would be relegated to one of those two classes. Ideas?

Mike

I think that is a great idea...

Hey Mike........ that's not a bad idea........ like POLICING our own......... lol...... too bad I'm retired......

As far as the hits thus far this season, I don't know what the heck is going on out there........ I can see weather conditions claiming some of it....... and the desire to win a round doing some damage........ but some of them, HOLY COW!!!!!!

Won't be long before we're back to the late 80's early 90's where -55 was a killer race car......... but hey, it was great racing back then..........

Don't know if I would use the "S" word though.......... lol

Wasn't F/AA hit a total of .09? .05 in the first, .01 in the second and .03 in the final, or am I missing something.
I saw a total of .72 under the original index in the finals, which was his quickest run. Or I may have missed something also.
