Let's Explain Comp

Patrick's proposal is like when we went from .500 lights and .400 lights to .000 lights. It didn't affect us any, but it reduced some confusion for the average fan.

Of course when the L/AA index is lowered from a 9.55 to a 9.05, I'LL WANT INDEX BACK! Sorry, I couldn't resist that last comment.

LOL, right. When was the last time you saw A/AA run 1.0 or .8 under? Pretty sure you're referring to turbo classes but don't have the cojones to step up and say it. LMFAO.

Yeah Steve you caught me. I'm the guy who is scared to say what I think lol. I'm pretty sure everyone knows what I'm talking about.

Yep, we know. BTW, you can say anything you want about A/AA, it really doesn't matter to me. Cream cheese, rotten cheese, poop, whatever. Just tryin to have some fun here.

I was just bustin your chops with the A/AA comment. I have no opinion on that index, just like most of the indexes in comp.

The .500 light to the 000 light, is exactly the same change for the same reason, to take .5 off the index number, it's easier to understand. Permanent hits start at -.11, which is -61, so the entire sytem, CIC and permanent hits, are simply represented by a smaller numbers. Sometimes I'm dummer than a bag of hammers, when I said the dominant cars would be even more dominant, well that would be the case if we were taking .5 off the indexes, but we are taking .5 off the index.....number. It was the permanent hit at -11 that turned the light on, kind of like the Motel 6 "we'll leave the light on for ya" or turn the light on in this case.

Rob,
I had aquick conversation about this with Unk, behind the tower in Shreveport. If we simpify this there really are no rule changes only a way in way the news is reported to the fans. A reporting change = no change, just an OK in the way we do it.

Rich,

It's good to hear that it is at least getting talked about and Unk is the man to be getting the point across to the those who need to hear about it.
