You are correct Jirkas run was a good one. TD is a 32 car quallified field...then we dial it in. Going quicker than 6.00 sec. is not more consistant it's just simpler to do with our cars. Slowing them down is harder than it sounds and makes them more inconsistant, with our roots blower and powerglide we'll never be as quick as a good TAD but thats not what we are trying to do. Some of us ...like Jirka... simply want to run as fast as our combo will allow, and have a place to do it. TD and TS always have good fields and turnout, by allowing us to go as fast as we can the field just gets quicker...something that the few people in the stands at a div. race seem to like...fast cars racing fast cars.

After thinking about the T/D class I agree with you about going fast for the fans they do like T/D . So I vote cut them loose give the fans their moneys worth .

As you know, Jody, you can run as fast as you'd like in IHRA Top Dragster. You live just south of a state with an entire division dedicated to itself- talk about Heaven. Of course, it's 1/8 mile racing.
 
Tyler I have been trying to get Jody in comp . There is a buntch of the T/D guys that are needed in comp .From what I have seen they would be competive out the gate . Although I don`t belive there would be a dragerst class you could be in the 5 sec zone . A/D mabey 6.30 is possible . Give Bob Book a call he has the right stuff for sale .
